PGA305: how to configure the sampling rate

Part Number: PGA305

Hello,

How to configure the sampling rate of the internal ADC? Datasheet provided the cutoff frequency with 1024us sampling rate, so how to know the other cutoff frequency with other sampling rate? For example, if it could get to 1Khz cutoff frequency?

Best regards

  • Hello Kailyn,

I believe the sample output rate of the filter is fixed at a period of 1024us based on the filter topology. Note that this is digital filtering of the ADC data after it has been compensated and before it is passed to the DAC for analog output or through I2C. Since the output/sampling rate is limited to 1024us (roughly 1kHz), the Nyquist frequency is roughly 500Hz (2048us), which is why the filter coefficients have been provided for cutoffs below 500Hz.

    Regards,
