AWR1843BOOST: object detection with EVM is not proper, getting wrong object detected points

Part Number: AWR1843BOOST

Hi,

Thanks!

Doing basic testing of EVM, keeping module close to the wall & its throwing 91 objects detected. Module is very close to wall. Same output getting in demo visualizer tool also. PFA image.

Is it a right way of testing module?

Can you please confirm minimum size of object required for detection? Here is the header info which I received:

  • Hi,

By placing the sensor close to a wall you will get multi-path reflections.

No, this is not the right way of testing the module.

Usually, first we test the sensor with a corner reflector in some open wide space so that there are no additional reflections.

    Thank you
