TDC1000: TDC1000-7200EVM gerber files

Part Number: TDC1000
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , TDC7200, TDC7200EVM

Hello,

I am looking to re manufacture this EVM board. Unfortunately, TI doesn't sell anymore this board and didn't keep the manufacturing files.

In order to work and develop on this TDC1000 - 7200 front end, I really need to remanufacture this board (that is also compatible than TI labview software)

Does anyone has Gerber/manufacturing files ?

Kind regards,

Guillaume Chab

  • Hi Guillaume,

Unfortunately, we do not have the Gerber files for this EVM.  The EVM has been made obsolete, as is described in the below post:

Can you tell me what application is this for?

    Thank you,

    Mekre

  • Hi Mekre,

This application is for level sensing and bonding qualification. This EVM was very helpfull and we had no developpment needed because the computer software provide by you let the board easy to use while playing with TDCs registers. This board was also designed and optimize for the same sensor that we use.

I need also the test point output to visualize waveforme on a scope (mandatory).

Do you have an alternate boards that offer the same software interface and flexibility ?

    Yhank you,

    Guillaume.

  • on the documentation of the TDC1000-C2000EVM, I find out this board:  TDC1000-GASEVM -> it is the same of the TDC1000-7200EVM.

Do you have gerbers files or a supplier that sell this board ? TDC1000-GASEVM

    Thank you

  • Hello,

The user guide with the schematic, BOM, and GUI executable are still available for the TDC1000-7200EVM. This applies to the TDC1000-GASEVM as well because it is the TDC1000-7200EVM paired with the TDC1000-BSTEVM.

The TDC720xEVM and TDC1000-C2000EVM GUI downloads provide firmware examples to help develop custom firmware for the TDC1000 and TDC7200. The TDC1000-C2000EVM uses the C2000 MCU and the TDC720xEVM firmware is for the MSP430F5529LP MCU, similar to the F series MSP430 used on the TDC1000-7200EVM. Likewise, reference designs for the TDC1000 and TDC7200 use a C2000 and MSP430 respectively. If you would like to create a board similar to the TDC1000-7200EVM, I recommend utilizing the TDC1000-7200EVM user's guide schematic and BOM, and firmware provided with the TDC720xEVM GUI download. The TDC1000-C2000EVM and TDC7200EVM can be paired to evaluate the products together. Unfortunately we cannot support gerber file requests for obsolete EVMs.

We will record your request as feedback for future EVM and TI reference design development.

    Regards,

    Gabriel
