AMC6821: PNP vs. NPN transistor

Hello Team,

I would assume that the AMC6821 can support a PN junction made out of PNP or an NPN transistor.

On page 11 of the datasheet, the functional block diagram shows a PNP transistor.

Among the recommended transistor we point out the 2N3904, which is NPN.

• Can you clarify PNP vs. NPN and which transistor we should use?
