Very sorry for the delay. Can you try the below steps to reflash the XDS110 firmware:

Also, can you clarify your hardware setup? You have both MMWAVEICBOOST and AWR1642BOOST in your title, are you using both of these boards? Are you connecting your PC to the USB ports on both the AWR1642 and MMWAVEICBOOST at the same time?

One more thing to try. Can you go to the device manager and click on the View > Show Hidden Devices. It should show a list of all of the COM ports that have ever been connected to your PC, like below. Try to manually right click > Uninstall Device on each of these ports, then try plugging in the EVM after all of the ports have been deleted.

Thanks for replying and your suggestions.  

 Firstly I want to clarify my set-up;  I am only using an AWR1642BOOST.  I also want to let you know that I have connected my device to another windows 10 laptop and it shows the  User and Com Ports as 3 and 4 which is normal so I do not think that have to reflash the AWR1642. I will see how to re-load the XDS110 drivers on my test set-up Laptop.  What do you think?

 Secondly,  I will try your suggestions and let you know the results.

1: With regards to "Hidden Device List", the file was completely empty, does this point to anything?

If your board is working with another PC, then it must some issue with your PC. Flashing the XDS110 firmware will not help, so I would not recommend that. It seems like there is some driver issue on your PC. Can you try reinstalling the drivers on your PC?

 Would the instructions for reloading the drivers be the same as referenced in the Forum discussion (Ted Dabrowski) you referenced earlier? Do I need an administrative CMD?  Just want to be careful; I am a Hardware Engineer.

We have spent all week investigating the  XDS110 port problem. We have tried your suggestions along with others we thought up but nothing works. The last thing we checked was the Validity of the Windows  XDS 110 driver certificates and noticed that they have expired; the validity is for 2018-09.13 to 2020-09-13. I  have had this time-stamped problem with Windows 10 before and TI had to send me drivers with updated validity dates.  It has become really critical for us so pleaXDS 110 Security -021921.pdfse advise when can I get replacement drivers or any other suggestion you may have.

Could you please use the latest drivers from below and see if this works? I do not recommend trying to reinstall the XDS110 FW as mentioned in the other thread with Ted Dabrowski. It is clear that the issue is on your PC side, so we should not do anything to change the firmware on the EVM.
