OPT3101EVM: Mode Super-HDR

Part Number: OPT3101EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPT3101,

Hello,

I have a question about Super-HDR mode. I know that the OPT3101EVM has one emitter and this emitter is connected in the channel TX0. But, the OPT3101 guide (OPT3101 ToF-Based Long-Range Proximity and Distance Sensor AFE) tells that Super-HDR mode uses 2 channels, TX0 and TX1, and illumination driver add a programmed current to these channels, ILLUM_DAC_H_TX1, ILLUM_DAC_L_TX1, ILLUM_DAC_H_TX0 and ILLUM_DAC_L_TX0. Therefore, when we are using OPT3101EVM with Super-HDR mode, we have only one channel TX0, TX1 is not used. So, in this case the illumination driver would provide four different currents to channel TX0 or it would provide two currents for channel TX0 and two currents for TX1? I need to understand how Super-HDR mode works in OPT3101EVM please.

Best regards,

Juan
