TMP117: feasibility of special use environment

Hi Sir,

With regard to TMP117,
I am planning to use TMP117 in hard environments, in high magnetic fields, about 3 Tesla spikes, and 50 Hz.
can TMP117 operates well?

and I am plan to use it in electro-magnetic coil(high voltage, about 1.8kV)'s temperature.
is it possible?
TMP117 can measure and communicate?

    Hi Frank,

    We haven't tested our devices in such an environment, but I wouldn't predict a problem with the device itself. I2C is not the best interface for EMI immunity, but it should survive in shielded cabling. We don't currently have another 0.1C device like TMP117 with a different interface.
