AWR2243: AWR2243 - No data capture using mmwavestudio 2G

Part Number: AWR2243

Hello,

We are using the AWR2243 model to capture data using mmWave studio 2G. Followed the mmWave studio Cascade user guide for configuration setup. Below are the screenshots of the output and connection tab setup. Always TDA ARM failed error occur. All the steps were followed as per the manual.

Tried via gui as well as Cascade_Capture.lua script but no success - Any help would be appreciated . Thanks.

  • Hello Roy,

From your attached snippet, I can see TDA ARM failed because the configured Width and height is 0. Please take a look at our Cascade FAQ page and try some of the debug methods suggested in there (Question 11):

Hope this helps. Let us know if you're still not able to resolve your issue.

    Regards,

    Ishita

  • Hi Ishita:

Can you please tell me where to set the image height and width since that is 0 or the document that describes this process. I will also go through all the suggestions in question 11 today also.

    thanks,

    Roy

  • Hello Roy,

There is no specific place to set the TDA width and height, they are automatically set based on your configuration. If they're zero, that means there was some error in your configuration (also some of the possible causes listed in question 11 of the FAQ page).

In case you're not able to figure out what caused this, you can send us your mmwave studio log file and we can look to help you further on this issue.

    Regards,

    Ishita

  • Hi Ishita:

Got the framing to work when running as a script since when running from the gui does not seem to work. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Have a nice week,
