Is there a difference in the mass production inspection process between "TMP112AIDRLR" and "TMP112AQDRLRQ1"?

Hi,

There are a few enhancements in production for our auto qualified sensors in comparison to the commercial products. Standard on all products are a solder reflow and x-ray inspection step during the assembly process. In some cases, there are additional test at probe or final test too. This is all to achieve a low DPPM on automotive products.

All qualification plans for the TMP112-Q1 are in compliance with AEC Q100 and AEC Q006. Those test included on the TMP112-Q1 are:

Final test outlier procedures
Auto visual inspection
Design FMEA
Design for test- this is for temperature fail detection/prevention strategies at hot and cold temps
Design for quality

Hi,

For the inspection process in mass production the differences are the final test outlier procedures and auto visual inspection. These test are only implemented on the TMP112AQDRLRQ1.
