AWR1243: mmWave Link for Xilinx freeRTOS

Part Number: AWR1243

Hey Everyone
I am new to device development

I am trying to connect a xilinx zynq fpga to AWR1243 and configure it over SPI. I have read up that mmWave link framework can be used but I am not sure how to use it on freeRTOS.
Any kind of leads will be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hello Hitesh,

In mmWave DFP package, you can find an application (mmwavelink_example) which provides a reference of mmWaveLink porting on the external Host processor.

Here is the link to the DFP package : https://software-dl.ti.com/ra-processors/esd/MMWAVE-DFP/01_02_06_03/index_FDS.html

Please refer to mmwave_dfp_user_guide.pdf which comes as a part of the part of the DFP package (docs directory : ...\mmwave_dfp_01_02_06_03\docs) for details.

  • Hello Ishita

Thanks for your reply. You explains kind of clears my doubt but is it possible to get a sample example which is not for windows as most of the functional logic is hidden in a library that I can't access. If a sample like for Linux if possible is available, it would be a great help in progressing forward with my work.
