IWR1642: how to use iwr1642 internal LDO?

Part Number: IWR1642

hello      We use the scheme of LP87524+LC to power the radar. Is it feasible if we use 1.3V to power the radar and generate 1.0V level through LDO inside the radar?I checked the relevant information and some engineers realized it through the function rlrfsetldobyAsConfig (), but we did not find the specific location of this function, can you give me some useful suggestions?

   thanks!

  • Hi,

Yes the internal LDO can be used when 1V3 is supplied to the RF rails. If 1V0 is used, you need to enable the LDO bypass.

    See ICD document
