TIDEP-01012: Additional turning for custom RF board about sync among AWR chips?

Part Number: TIDEP-01012
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWCAS-RF-EVM

I use a custom RF board which follows MMWCAS-RF-EVM design except antenna patterns.

I want to confirm that I need to turn for my custom RF board about sync among AWR chips or not.

The conditions of our custom board

1. The paths of 20 GHz (FMCW) RF LO sync are isometric wiring.

2. The paths of digital frame timing sync are isometric wiring.

3. The paths between AWR chips and antennas ARE NOT isometric wiring.

(More detail:

The paths between AWR chips and Tx antennas ARE NOT isometric wiring.

The paths between AWR chips and Rx antennas ARE NOT isometric wiring.)

I guess from TI document’s SWRA574B:

My board can auto-turn 20 GHz (FMCW) RF LO timing with the condition 1.

My board can auto-turn digital frame timing with the condition 2.

As a result of the condition 3, the difference of phase occurs.

We can compensate the difference of phase with a single corner reflector target.

(It refers the calibration for angle)

Do I need any other actions like a DSP API or anything about sync among AWR chips?
