IWR1642BOOST: No COM ports being shown in device manager

Hello all,

I have powered on the Board using a 5V / 2.5A adapter and I see the LED blinking on the board. Please let me know if it is expected?

Upon connecting the device, in the device manager, I am unable to see the COM ports. I have installed all the required software. Below is the snapshot indicating the software installed.

Again trying to run drivers installation from C:\ti\xds110\drivers DPInst64.exe file, I am getting the following error.

Please let me know, how can I resolve this issue.

Hi Sabeeh,

I have download the XDS Emulation Software Release: 9.2.0.00002 from the link you've mentioned and still facing the same issue of no drivers found designed for your machine.

Please let us know whether the blinking of LED is normal upon powering on?

Just want to also confirm you are using a 5V @ 2.5A power supply?

A few more steps, could you do uninstall other drivers and do a clean install? Are you sure you have proper administrative rights? Can you run the program as administrator?

You may have to try this on another computer if you are able.
