TMP116: Device ID Readback Issue

Hi E2E,

Having an issue with the read back on a TMP116 device ID, expecting 116 from the 0h0F register, getting 126 back.

Not seeing this on all sensors either, a subset of newer sensor are exhibiting this issue. Any suggestions on what the issue could be or has the device ID changed recently?

    Dear Anant - 

    Thanks for posting - can you double check that you are clocking two full bytes out? (in this case that should be 0x1116, as you said, not 0x0116 or 0x0126) Any capture (logic or o'scope) of this behavior would be helpful.
