DCA1000EVM: The board won't power on when plug the 5V in the DC port

Is this the first time you're using the board? Can you please confirm two things:

1. Has the board been modified in any way?

2. How much current is the 5V supply pulling when you power on the DCA1000?

It is not the first time to use this board.

    No

2. How much current is the 5V supply pulling when you power on the DCA1000? 

 I use adjustable power supply and set the supply power as 5v. It shows that the current is 0.56A and the voltage is 3V when pluging the       power to DCA1000.

However, the 5v_LED was not show up and there is no AR-DevPack-EVM ports in device manager.

You mentioned that it is not the first time you've used this board. Does that mean it was powering well some time back and you were able to capture data using that?

Also, since you're using an adjustable power supply, I'm assuming it 5V, >2A and the switch position is set to "DC_JACK" position

Yes,  you description of the board setting is correct.

I think there are some problems with the board such as short circuit.

Yes there seems to be a problem here. But can you confirm once if you were able to capture data or atleast power on this board before?

Was a higher power supply (>5V) used with this board?
