MMWCAS-RF-EVM: Error message: The no. of files captured in the directory is zero! Nothing to transfer!

Part Number: MMWCAS-RF-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA2

Hi Team,

Our customer has the same problem as described in the E2E thread below. When they do the test indoor after a few power cycles it works. However, they are running some tests outdoors and they have rebooted it many times and it never worked. As the post said, it may be related to the temperature, it was around 7°C. They need to do outdoor measurements for their project, and the board is not working outdoor. Do we have a solution to this issue?

  • Hello Danilo,

Let me check with the team internally on this and get back to you before the end of this week.

  • Hello Danilo,

As mentioned by Randy in your mentioned thread, this is related to a FPGA startup timing issue. We're still investigating this concern since this is something we haven't observed very often.

Possibly, we'll be looking into an update for the TDA2 software which might improve this FPGA startup problem, but I can't commit a timeline for this as of now. I will let you know about any developments (if there are any) on this.

    Regards,

    Ishita
