IWR1843: How to recover a badly programmed board

Part Number: IWR1843
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR6843

Hello,

We have made a custom rigid flex board with IWR1843, please see picture below - its very small and we had to give up on the JTAG connector. We have the JTAG pins on test points though as a last resort.

Now, I have received from my customer two failing boards for test, and from hardware side, all seems OK - voltages rails are OK, clock seems to be oscillating, reset released. I also see after reset some activity on SPI bus, the device seems to try to boot but stops and the program either not fully loaded, or maybe loaded but not functioning properly (I don't know that but I'm assuming one of these is correct).

So, I don't think this is a hardware issue, what do you think ?

Second, how can we save such a board and reprogram it? preferably without JTAG.

Thanks in advance
