PGA970: PGA970 with PWM

Hi,
I read that there is no PWM available at the moment. As reffered to in this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/sensors-forum/913005/pga970-pwm-digital-interface I should use the GPIOs with programmed firmware for that. Howver in the Softwareuserguide i found some PWM functions (9.16 Page 46). My CCS just isn't able to use those since they were never declared anywhere. Is there any example of a working PWM Signal or somekind of Tutorial on how to create it?

Hi!

There is nothing that I am aware of. I'm not sure what Scott was referring to with his comments on the other thread. He's on vacation through Monday next week and I'll see if he has any further detail to share when he gets back to work.

Hello,

I believe those PWM functions were a holdover from an initial development, but are not applicable to the current release of the PGA970. These functions can be disregarded, as the PGA970 in its current form does not support native PWM output.

Hello,
you mentioned that there is a possabillity to achieve a pwm via the GPIOs is there any help or guide on that?
