Minimum object size that 77G millimeter-wave radar can detect

Hi Team,

Section 2 of the SWRA593 application report shows the list of objects versus the range which our mmWave sensor can detect relative to the distance. However, our customer would like to know the minimum object size that 77G millimeter-wave radar can detect.

Hello Danilo,

The radar module receives energy reflected from different objects. If the energy reflected is large enough, the detection algorithm makes a decision that a detection has occurred.

The reflected energy depends on many factors: location, material, shape of the object....

So, technically speaking, it is difficult to define a minimum size or volume. It depends on various factors.
