We are using the LDC1101 to design a padlock presence sensor.
On a metal bar, there is a hole of 15mm, where the padlock is inserted. The padlock lock diameter can vary between 1 & 14mm. we are looking to put thin coil around the hole and to monitor the LDC1101 measurements. We might use Flexible sintered ferrite sheet between the coil and the metal support. Here is a photo of the setup:
Please can you help us to design the coil and capacitor choice
