I am using IWR6843ISK board and the 68xx_mmwave_sdk_dsp of out_of_box_demo as project code.

I have question.

I am modifying demo code with tool made by us.

I knew that there is variations each IWR6843ISK board. (for example : RX CH phase, etc.)

so, I want to get information of unique ID each IWR6843ISK board. (for example : serial number, etc.)

Is there API function for getting information of unique ID each IWR6843ISK board?

I want to distinguish each IWR6843ISK board.

Lim:

There is not a unique ID for each IWR6843ISK board. To have a board specific ID for your application you will have to code a unique ID into flash or some other kind of NV memory and keep track of boards that way.

I have question.

I can get flashAddr like this. ( flashAddr = QSPIFlash_getExtFlashAddr(qspiflashHandle); )

And I must use flashAddr for writing like below.

flashAddr = flashAddr + FLASH_OFFSET;

QSPIFlash_singleWrite(qspiflashHandle, flashAddr, FLASH_LEN, (uint8_t *)my_data);

How much should I use FLASH_OFFSET in out_of_box_demo project?

I am wondering how much I am currently using flashAddr in out_of_box_demo project.

Lim:

The example in the PDF that I linked up above suggests having the FLASH_OFFSET as 0x100000 and our labs also use this offset. This offset is needed because the flash memory space also stores the meta image e.g. .bin file which is copied into RAM and executed on your device.
