MMWAVE-STUDIO: Post processing problem

Part Number: MMWAVE-STUDIO
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA2, AWR2243

Hi there,

I am trying to capture raw ADC data from the AWR 2243 cascade sensors using mmWave studio. I am getting the same result (shows a peak at 5 m in range plot) when I perform post processing in mmWave Studio upon the captured data using the SSD(for any kind of test case). Here are the steps I followed as per the mmwave_cascade_studio_user_guide.pdf .

  • Create a bootable SD card, flash the TDA2 firmware and format the SSD.
  • Installed the required softwares - MMWAVE STUDIO 03.00.00.14 , Matlab runtime 32 bit v851, MS VC++ runtime redistributable 2015
  • Connect the TDA2 to pc  , configure UART and Ethernet
  • Update the Meta image of DFP provided for ES 1.1 - (mmwave_dfp_02_02_00_03)
  • Run the configuration test source .lua script (Runs successfully)
  • Run the cascade capture lua script (Runs successfully and captures the data)

When I perform post processing on the obtained data, the result is always as shown below for any case .

Note - I have used both the default configuration scripts and modified scripts but the range profile seems to be the same in both the cases. I have also verified the working of the sensor by running a demo binary from processor radar sdk.

Could you kindly point out whether there is any mistake in my procedure or suggest a fix for this?

Thanks and regards,
