AWR2243BOOST: Porting mmWaveLink to external microcontroller

Part Number: AWR2243BOOST

I am looking to port mmWaveLink to raspberrypi OS and I am unsure how to begin. The porting guide provided in the mmwavelink.h file of the mmwave_dfp mentions modifying the applications file and not the driver itself. Where is this application file located? Which file is the driver file? I am new to software development so I am not quite sure how to use the porting guide and the files provided.

Hi Ishita, I have a better understanding of what I need to do. I am looking at the library build instructions provided in the dfp. I noticed it doesn't have instructions for the Raspberry Pi 4s ARM Cortex-A72 platform, it only provides build instructions for the a r4f, r5f, m4, c66, c674 platforms. How should I proceed? Do I need to manually build the library for Cortex-A72 platform? If so do you have resources to go about doing that? Thank you.

Hi Jordan,

mmWaveLink is plain C code that you can build for any required platform you need. And yes, we don't provide any makefile or build instruction for R-PI. So you need to generate makefile or build a script by yourself.
