I need to confirm some details with you .

1.MMWCAS-RF-EVMcan measure XYZ coordinates, right ?

2.Suppose there is a metal ball at 4m away from the millimeter-wave radar, how much distance does the metal ball move in the direction XYZ at least to be perceived by the radar, that is to say, what is the resolution of the millimeter-wave radar in the X direction, in the Y direction and in the Z direction?

Please find my comments below :

1. Yes, you are right. (Refer to the antenna orientation in Section 2.6 of this guide)

2. The resolution depends on the various factors such as the chirp configuration.

Please refer to the following application note to understand how chirp configuration can affect the different parameters : Chirp Parameters in TI Radar Devices (Rev. A)
