TMCS1100: Simulation model

Part Number: TMCS1100
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

The current inputs IN + and IN- appear to be inversed on the TMCS1100 simulation model. When the current increases, the output voltage decreases contrary to what Figure 46 shows in the datasheet.
Am I right or do I not understand everything?

  • Hello Francois,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments.  Are you using the pspice model or the TINA-TI model?  Forward current flowing from terminals IN+ to IN- should generate a voltage on the output above the REF pin voltage.  The issue you mention had been identified before and should be fixed on the TINA-TI models.  The fix however has not been applied to the pspice model yet.
