MMWAVEICBOOST: Run the OOB Demo without the MMWAVEICBOOST board

Hi team,

I have tested the real data adc capture from IWR6843AOPEVM module with the MMWAVEICBOOST and the DCA1000 extension boards with your provided OOB demo. My question is, if there is no need to program/flash the MMWAVEICBOOST board, since i just need the adc raw data captured and output via the DCA1000 board, is it possible, to run the OOB Demo without the MMWAVEICBOOST board, so that the 60-pin connector of the IWR6843 is directly connected to the 60-pin connector of the DCA1000 Board?

    Hi,

    The pinouts of the 60 pin connector for the mmwaveicboost is different from that of the DCA1000EVM.  So on the IWR6843AOPEVM you cannot use that connector for DCA1000EVM.

    Just as an FYI, you can use (flash and run applications) the IWR6843AOPEVM without needing the MMWAVEICBOOST. The MMWAVEICBOOST is needed for JTAG debug and other features.
