HDC2080: Configuration compatibility

Hi team,

 

Our customer is considering to replace to HDC2080 from HDC1080 and they would like to make sure the difference of configuration between HDC1080 and HDC2080.

Could you kindly advise if they can use same configuration with HDC1080 ?

    Hi Michiaki,

    The HDC1080 and the HDC2080 are pin compatible devices. The HDC1080 has only one address available while the HDC2080 has two address that can use the same I2C bus. The HDC2080 can only operate between 1.62 to 3.6V and the HDC1080 can operate between 2.7V to 5.5V.
