I have a unique application to track a reciprocating pump piston rod at close proximity from 20cm to 30cm. Piston rod has a Stroke Length of 30cm with 1 to 240 Strokes Per Minute (SMP) - i.e. a maximum linear speed 0.01m/s to 2.4m/s, but the motion is complex with sinusoidal acceleration and speed, field of view 90 to 120 degrees. With the evaluation of AWR1443BOOST for the application, I have concluded that to track the piston rod at low SPM (1) further processing power and algorithm development is required with a DSP as the pump enclosure is made of metal (Steel) as well. i.e. grouping of objects feature will be required to tweak

About 60 Strokes Per Minute with AWR1443BOOST

I am considering to use one of the following to evaluate further and would like to make sure the hardware is suitable for the application:

  1. AWR6843AOP EVALUATION BOARD 
  2. AWR1642BOOST-ODS
  3. AWR1642BOOST

I need some expert advise / guidance in selecting one of the above module. However my preference is AWR6843AOP as it will make the design of production PCB much simpler.
