IWR6843: Level Sensing - High Accuracy max range

I would like to know if it is possible to use the lab high accuracy for distances up to 100 meters, even with low precision, or if it has any limitations.

Hello

Please note that accuracy of the sensing is dependent on the SNR of the reflected signal. If you environment is feasible to provide the required SNR for accuracy then mmWave data will work for it.

Antenna Design, constrained environment, Lens for mmWave are some of the knobs you have in your hand to improve the SNR to improve accuracy.

Just to confirm, then it would be possible to use the lab high accuracy 68xx even for distances greater than 20m, as the oob can be used?

Hi Ana

Yes this is true but the provided configuration file has a limitation of 20m as a result of FFT sample size.

Hello,

I would like to know if it is supported in the demo 1024 FFT. I tried to use 1024 FFT in the cfg file but it was not successful.

The algorithm is fixed to 512 FFT size.
