IWR1443BOOST: IWR1443Boost

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST

Hi, team

My customer is working with IWR1443Boost, he connected it to his PC ubuntu but It's not able identify it's ports.

The IWR1443Boost's three leds (5V , NRST , WARMRST) were blink together when he got it 5V suppy.

Could you please tell me what the problem is?since I checked the user's guide, but I did't find the description of LED uses for WARMRST.(pg.15)

  • The device is not able to lift out of the reset state. Does pressing the NRST button fix this?

I also noticed that the 5V IN led is not on. This is more concerning. Are you sure you are supplying 5V and 3A? Have you made any hardware modifications?

  • Yes, I was try by pressing the NRST button but the problem does not resolved and I using 5v 4 A adapter to power the device
I didn't make any modifications in the hardware...
One more thing that I want to mention again that , Once in the first try ,I was successful connect my device to my pc , the ports of the device identify by my System but after two days later , I again try to connect the device to my pc but I get failed to connect it, My pc even not able to identify the ports of the device IWR1443BOOST and I also notice that the three leds of the board was also blinking continuously . 5v , NRST , WARMRST , these leds are blinking together
I try to find out about it lot but didn't find any solution so I request to please provide the solution of this problem.

  • The 5v LED should not be blinking. It needs to remain on. You probably do not see the device on your PC because of poor power connection, ie. the device is not powered. It is possible the regulator circuit is broken. Use a multimeter to probe power lines and ensure they are solid. You can find power lines to probe in the schematic.
