IWR1843: What internal modules are supplied by VIN_13RF1/2 separately

Hi,

In datasheet, we found VIN_13RF1/2 are 1.3-V Analog and RF supply. But customer found there is voltage gap between VIN_13RF1 and VIN_13RF2 when TX is transmitting. So they wants to know what module is supplied by VIN_13RF1 and what is supplied by VIN_13RF2 separately. And if it causes the voltage difference when TXs are on.

Would you pls help?

Is there a specific difference observed on the Power level of Transmitter based on voltages provided to the two VIN_13 Rails ?

Vaibhav,

In customer's board with customer's own software, VIN_13RF2 is 20mV higher than VIN_13RF1. Is VIN_13RF1/2 related to different TX?

Hello Chris,

Sorry for the delay.

VIN_13RF1 is the supply for the RX RF blocks and the RX amplifier clusters.

VIN_13RF2 is the supply for the TX RF blocks and the TX, Common amplifier clusters.
