Dear all,

I would like to design a 360° angle sensor using LDC1312 with 24 positions (15° step). Now I have problem for the coil parameters and coil layout using LDC Tools ext50 and Coil Desinger Tool online of TI.
I need your technical support!

Hi Qinghai,

I would recommend referring to the 1-Degree Dial Reference Design (TIDA-00508). This design example uses the LDC1314 but can also be used with LDC1312, LDC1612, or LDC1614. You can find design files and software, as well as a link to the LDC1314DIAL-EVM folder on the TIDA-00508 product page. Additionally, the LDC1314DIAL-EVM user's guide has sensor coil and target design guidelines in sections 8.2 and 8.3.
