AWR1843AOPEVM: Cannot flash demo binary file onto awr1843aopevm

Hello

I am trying to upload the "xwr18xx_mmw_aop_demo.bin" file onto my awr1843aopevm. I am using UniFlash 6.3.0 and I have selected the "awr1843" as my part (because there is no option for awr1843aop - maybe this is the problem I am not sure?).

I made sure that the correct com port is selected for the flashing process and I set my awr1843aopevm to standalone mode, but when I flash, UniFlash gets stuck and I see the last message in the consol say "Cortex_R4_0: Set break signal".

Any assistance would be appreciated thanks.

Hi,

Looks like SOP setting is not set properly. Could you get us the picture of your EVM SOP settings?

My switch settings are as follows:

s1.3 and s1.4 are both OFF

and s3 I have tried to turn on when I flash (so press the sw3 button) but this did not work and I have also tried leaving it off and this did not work also.

Sorry for not providing a picture, I am not sure how to do this, when I go to "insert>image/video/file" it only allows me to put a link of an image not to upload from my pc

Sorry, I think the problem was that I was trying to use the wrong usb port on my computer, once I connected my device to a different usb port it managed to flash the code without any problems. Thanks for the help
