Hi TI Team,

Please find the attached photos, Can you please let me know, if the heatsink is placed in the right place on AWR1642BOOST EVM, I hope placing so close to the circuit doesn't affect the RADAR performance.

It's a Silicone Based Flexible Thermal Pad with Thermal Conductivity: 6.0 W/mK(Blue Patch on the photo)

I have also attached the reference photo.

Hello Guru,

The best heat syncing would happen if the heat sink is attached just below the AWR device (the green box shown below).

Thanks for the response.

Can I use the heatsink(the blue patch) of the same size to fix it on the place of the green box? Can you please suggest me, if I need to reduce the size of the heatsink(as it's already small in size)

Hello Guru,

In the region I had marked you would need a smaller size heatsink. But if you can make a custom size heatsize , you can use both the regions (the one you have presently used and one I had marked ) so that overall you have a larger heatsink contact.
