LDC1314: How to design the target shape that matches the Coils design (made via Webench)?

The design will be based on LDC1314DIAL-EVM and TIDA-00508

The coils PCB design has been made via webench (following this blog coil design intro).
-Now how to design the target PCB?

The TIDA-00508 provides the "TIDA-00508 Target Shape Calculator (TIDCA88)" EXCEL file.
-How should the parameters from the coil Webench tool be entered in this EXCEL file?
-How can R and H be used? Are units mils or mm?

Here is the mechanical dimension. The coil diameter is 16.92mm, in the center there is a 16mm diameter hole. the radius of the circle d3 is 18.45mm, the max. width of metal target d1 is 15.38mm.

Thank you for posting.

The dimensions you have listed correctly fit the TIDA-00508 target design ratio. The thickness of the target's copper pattern should be twice the skin depth of the signal. Skin depth can be calculated with the following equation (eqn. 1 from LDC Target Design):

For the Target Shape Calculator the "Center R" parameter corresponds to the radius of the central circle, d3. The H parameter corresponds to the maximum width of the target, d1. All values are in mil.
