I just tried the demo and was able to run on an AWR1642BOOST EVM with no issues.

Are you using the latest toolbox (version 2.5)? If not, can you try switching to the latest toolbox.

Do you have a RevB EVM? If so, have you set the switch S2 to the 'CAN' position?

Your EVM is a RevB, it says so on the silk screen right above the TI logo in your picture. 

Can you show me how your are connecting the PEAK cable to the EVM? Which pins are connected to CAN_H, CAN_L, and GND?

Can you confirm that you are using a 5V supply with >2.5A current capability?

Thanks for your clarification concerning my board type.

I'm not in my office right now, but i can confirm that:

- Wiring (peak cable to radar sensor) was done based on datasheet delivered with odoc lab in automotive toolbox.

-For  board supply, I'm using the same charger that I have been using during UART interface connector demos test and it worked well.

Looking at your first picture, it does not look like you are connecting to the correct pins on the PEAK connector but it is difficult to see. Can you confirm when possible exactly which pins you are using?

Also, please confirm that the supply is 5V >2.5A.

• charger output: 5V  = 1.2 A

        I will test the lab using a charger with an output of  5V  >2.5 A

I tested the awr1642boost RevB using a charger with supply specs: 5V & 3 A. Unfortunately, the same issue, nothing displayed in message reading and also on X-Y plot but when I powered cycle (sw2 button) the RADAR  sent a few frames and after that it stopped sending data.

Hi,

Could you check with a scope the CAN output pins on the EVM. You should see some signal level changing. If you do not see this, it means that the board is not transmitting CAN data.

As was discussed in previous threads, it is possible that the configuration of the EVM is not correct.

I'll recheck the board setup and also firmware then I'll verify if RADAR transmits Data through can bus using a scope.

It will be more clear if you share a demo of objects detection over can bus (video demo)!
