AWR1243: AWR1243: AWR1243 Cascade EVK (MMWCAS-RF-EVM, MMWCAS-DSP-EVM) emits CW

I would like to emit CW from AWR1243 Cascade EVK using one radar device.
I have been using "Contstream"tab of mmWavestudio2.01.00.00.
Is the following recognation correct?
①
Device starts to emit CW when I push "Enable" button after I set "stream config"
②
"Capture" button of "Capture and Post Process" dose not turn into "stop capture".
In this case,Device has been emitting CW but ,dose not capture.
③
Device can emits CW using following code of Lua language.

ar1.ContStrConfig_mult(UInt16 RadarDeviceId,　...)
ar1.ContStrModEnable_mult(UInt16 RadarDeviceId)

Hi,

After enabling the Cont Stream, you have to set the "basic configuration for analysis". It will capture based on the Number of samples you've entered there. Please follow the below sequence for capture:

I woukd like to measure AWR1243's Tx power, using spectrum analizer.

To measure this, AWR1243 always needs to radiate CW.

Can AWR1243 emit continious wave using mmWavestudio 2.01.00.00?

I look like you are using mmWavestudio 3.00.00.07.

Hi,

If you want to capture data, then you have to follow the above explained steps in mmWave Studio 02.01.00.00.

In order to measure Tx Power, your outline is correct, you just need to "enable" Cont stream after setting "stream config" for that particular device.
