Hi,
I am using the IWR 6843 ISK - ODS device for more than 2 months. There is booting issues with the Sensor, after flashing the .bin image. When i run the Demo Application(matlab GUI ),sensor start is not happening and it is not provided the frame Numbers.
And one more issue is, antenna color has changed due to more heat. Attaching the sensor image below FYI.
Here i will attach the power supply image also. Please guide me whether this power supply range is sufficient or more than that.
Help me out to resolve the problem.

Hi,
1.Board image you have posted is not of IWR6843ISK-ODS but regular IWR6843ISK, It need to be plugged with MMWAVEICBOOST board to work. Power adapter used seem to be fine.

2. Is the problem is present on IWR6843ISK or IWR6843ISK-ODS board?
>> I am not sure whether the problem is with ISK board or with MMWAVEIC BOOST carrier board. Please guide me how to find the issue.
3. Could you please post the image of the both the boards together under powered on condition when it does't work?

4. .Does out of box demo application run correctly?

NERROR LED is not glowing now.
In mmWaveic Carrier Board there is a LED near GPIO_2 which is DS2.
DS2 LED will glow in two conditions from my understanding:
1. Flashing any image to the device
2. While proving any data in any visualizer tool like GUI Applications.
When I Powercycle my device, this DS2 LED used to glow manytimes and by that time I wasn't aware of NERROR LED. So in that state, I cannot be able to flash any bin image and also cant able to capture any data from the device.
Please help me out to solve this issue as well.

On the bottom of the carrier board these are series of LEDs are present. Second from the left bottom circled below is the NERROR LED.
From the above picture it's not clear if NERROR LED is illuminated or not.
DS2 LED not glowing indicates some sort of hardware problem.
For mmWave sensor to work there should not be any NERROR LED should be glowing.
And sensor should be in right boot mode i.e. SOP2 (From the image it looks like device is in the right jumper configuration for SOP2 mode), After that a reset application is needed to register the boot mode.
Once boot mode is registered you need to use the right com port (Please post the com port configuration in the device manager).
Also if you had any un-successful flashing in past, there could be residue of flash utility may be residing, it might block the ports, Hence terminate all the flash utilities in your task manager (including any python scripts *.py in the background) and retry flashing...

1. Initial State - Power cycled the device, DS2 LED not glowing.
2. When I flash the .bin image it was glowing after flashing it goes to off state.
3. And if it is providing the data via parser, LED is blinking.
Please confirm whether my device is in proper state.Shall I rely on the data provided by the device.
