Hi,

can you see the driver's line of sight with the help of mmwave? I am now using the awr1642 and would like to work on a project where I can see the direction of view from a driver with the help of mmwave sensor.

For example, if the driver is driving right or left all the time, you can see this with the help of mmwave.
would that be possible with the help of mmwave?

Hello Walid,

mmwave sensor provides the obstacle information in the scene. To find the left/right of driving requires a reference like the edge of the road or divider, or wrt to road lane width etc.

sensor can provide all nearby vehicle info in the scene so with that if you can calculate your result then you can use sensor.

thanks for your faster feedback.

I meant with left and right whether the mmwave sensor can detect the tiredness of the drive or if it doesn't take good care of the drive. this is also about the driver monitoring whether the faher only looks in front (that's good) or his block direction is right and left all the time and then does not concentrate so well on the drive.
