Hi,
We are considering TMP007. If FOV is altered by using additional optical lenses or by limiting the FOV through the use of an
aperture, could the distance of the target object be extended with high accuracy ?

Kato,
Thank you for considering our TMP007.
Restricing the field of view by means of an aperture will decrease your signal. It will give you more of the signal that you are really interested in which is good, but if the signal is low to begin with due to distance, that may be an issue. Having said that we have offered our experience with FOV restricting shields in which we have had very good results. Can you give me an Idea of the distance you are concidering and what kind of optical aids you are concidering.

I am also looking into longer distances, closest would be 8ft, but the longest would be about 25ft. Any tips? I'm open to using a lens or a shield if I can find one that is reasonably inexpensive.
