What is the minimum time between posting so points don't get removed ? A while ago I had a few amplifier discussions and got to around 180 points. As I.m 40+ years experienced I don't need to post that often. Yet when I came back for my next post I had been knocked back to entry level 30 points. Is this normal or a bug, and if a bug can you please fix it ? Also just a thought but given asking each question gives points you could have this absurd situation where a novice or student has a high score, but a busy professional that knows what they are doing keeps ending up back down at 30 so a bit upside down. So if the aim is to encourage expertise (other than TI folk) then might be worth adjusting the algorithm ! Best Steve

Hello Steve,

Points are only removed if the thread or post that awarded the points was deleted.

Do you have a list of threads where you posted? We can compare and ensure the threads are still accessible.

Also note that the scenario you described where multiple posts in the same thread would increase a member's total points - this is not the case, as only the first post or Reply in a thread will earn points; all subsequent Reply in the same thread do not increase the point total.
