Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Hi Support Team,

I had myTI Email Alerts for the week of 2023 12 02 in last weekend.
There is the following announcement, and this document was updated at Nov-2022 in the product site.

The following information was updated during the week of 2023 12 02:.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Product model number: AM6442---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Application Note "Sitara Processor Power Distribution Networks: Implementation and Analysis (Rev. F)" has been added.

The TRM for AM3352 also received an update announcement, but the format has only changed,
the document revision has not changed, and there is no mention of it in the Revision History.

We are recommending our customers to sign up for Subscribe to updates, but is it working?

Best regards,
Kanae

  • Hello Kanae,

Yes, any change and re-posting of the document will generate an update announcement.  Why the revision was not updated in the TRM, I do not know and I have alerted the Product Group so they can comment. In general, if the customer is wanting to see updates, yes, a good idea.  They can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Hi Leonard,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand that any changes will be automatically emailed.

In the case of changes that are not reflected in the revision history
(e.g., changes in appendixes, changes in package information, etc.),
would it be possible to indicate in the e-mail alert or in the changed document
    where the modification was made?

    Best regards,
    Kanae
  • Kanae

The AM335x TRM notification was a result of an inadvertent upload of an TRM that was being used to test new documentation tools. The correct TRM has since been restored.

  • Hi Paul,

    Thank you for your reply.
I confirmed that the TRM is back to the original.

Could you please answer to my question?

In the case of changes that are not reflected in the revision history
(e.g., changes in appendixes, changes in package information, etc.),
would it be possible to indicate in the e-mail alert or in the changed document
    where the modification was made?

    Best Regards,
    Kanae

  • Im not sure if that was possible, but I will forward your feedback to the team Responsible.
