How to send a E2E private message

I was told I could send a private E2E message, but I don't see any way to do that. Can you explain how I could send the message through the forum?

I think the problem is that in order to do as mentioned in the FAQ that the TI employee must have to add me as a friend first. When I go to my profile I have no friends and thus I am pretty much stopped at at the beginning of the FAQ. Even if I enter the FAEs name, Lucas Wolter, I am not given the "Users" option to select from.
