處理器-SDK-AM62X:Question about AM62x DDR Stress Test tool

Tool/software:

Hi ,

I have some question about AM62X DDR test

1. Does Ti  supply any AM62x DDR Stress tool ?  we want to test our DDR over night

2.As far as I know, there are the following three tools available to test DDR, but are there any other tools that can be used?

(1) Using CCS to test DDR  (2) mtest tool in uboot  (3) memtest

3. Could TI provide detailed instructions on how to use CCS to test DDR?

  • The SDK has linux memtester built in which is a useful memory stress tool that can be run for an overnight test.  Typical command line would be:

    memtester 512M

which will test a 512MB region.  The test can be made to run faster or slower depending on the size of memory you allocate.

Also now available is a DDR margin tool: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/DDR-MARGIN-FW/1.8.0 which can help determine robustness of your configuration.

    Regards,

    James
