DS90UH948-Q1: Applied timing of the setting of configuration pins (IDx, MODE_SEL0 and MODE_SEL1)

Hello,

I would like to know when the configuration pins (IDx, MODE_SEL0 and MODE_SEL1) defines each Deserializer setting based on the input voltage.

Generally, the voltage can be exposed to an external noise or it can be affected by input voltage fluctuations.
Should we always maintain the voltage of the configuration pins (IDx, MODE_SEL0, and MODE_SEL1) within the voltage range specified in the datasheet even in abnormal situations?

Or is there a critical timing when we must keep the voltage as designed with the highest priority?

    The Idx and mode-sel pins are dependent on the voltage range, so the voltage range should still be kept in abnormal situations.

    To settle in the proper idx and modes, the voltage should be maintained the entire time the device is powered up.

    Based on your answer, does the deserializer continuously monitor the IDx, MODE_SEL0, and MODE_SEL1 pins, updating the IC settings at all times according to the voltages of these configuration pins?

    Hi Keisuke,

    Yes, it is expected that the proper voltage be provided to these pins at all times while the device is on for the modes to be stable.
