Could you please share the latest supported U-Boot image for this platform along with the recommended upgrade procedure or any relevant documentation?

Additionally, please let us know if there are any prerequisites, dependencies, or precautions that need to be considered before performing the upgrade.

only TMDX654IDKEVM is the supported latest evaluation module

So few options for you.

1<recommended> . Switch to TMDX654IDKEVM (More on hardware capability is here: https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDX654IDKEVM#tech-docs )

1.1 Latest released linux SW is 11.02 , more on component version can be seen at https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM65X

1.2 If you prefer a much later version, we are currently on migration to 6.18 LTS /2026.01 uboot tags : CICD snapshots and test logs can be referred further at https://software-dl.ti.com/cicd-report/linux/index.html?section=platform&platform=am65xx

2. If you already have TMDX654GPEVM, As per what i see in the tested logs from software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html basic functionality looks ok.

The AM65x Linux SDK 8.6.0.47 is the last SDK supporting TMDX654GPEVM as listed in the release note

I am reaching out to request assistance with an issue where our embedded Linux box failed to boot after an image update.

I have updated the WIC image on a new SD card, but the box is not booting from it. To ensure compliance with company security policies regarding tool usage, I used Win32 Disk Imager (run as administrator) as an alternative to Balena Etcher.
