Hello Champak,
Form your request, it is apparent that your are considering a boost power-factor-correction (PFC) design. For a 400V output, usually a 500V or 600V rated MOSFET is chosen. The on-resistance required depends on a number of factors, but usually, a main goal is to minimize loss (but also to maintain a reasonable cost). Operating down to 90Vac will require larger MOSFETs.
The UCC28070 PFC controller is well suited for 1kW applications, and the datasheet https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/ucc28070 contains MOSFET design information in Section 8.2.2.4. THer are several App-Notes available in the UCC28070 product folder https://www.ti.com/product/UCC28070 and this App-Note https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slua479 has a more detailed design procedure to help with MOSFET selection.
Regards,
Ulrich
