TS3DDR4000: Max Tswitch Time

Part Number: TS3DDR4000

All,

I saw the other e2e post on this subject:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/switches-multiplexers-group/switches-multiplexers/f/switches-multiplexers-forum/1016129/ts3ddr4000-what-is-the-max-switching-time-for-ts3ddr4000zbar?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=TS3DDR4000%20tswitch%20max#

Since we tested at 50ohm and 5pF load, do we have the max Tswitch time under those conditions?  What additional details can be provided to design for worst case scenario in design?

Thanks!

Russell

  • Hi Russell,

We do not have this exact information. That post is referring to how the data was originally collected to arrive at the typical value and there was no indication on a maximum value for this specification.

This parameter will be heavily dependent on the loading conditions on the logic/control pins. Increasing the capacitance on these pins will drive that number on the datasheet higher, but again it is hard to gauge as this is also dependent on the PCB layout as well.

    Thanks,

    Bryan
