TS5A3166: TS5A3166: unwanted input connects to output.

Hi There,

In my application, 2.8VV battery voltage is always presence at Pin 1 and TS5A3166 5pinSOT-23 is powered from other system 3.3V rail. Below scenario i have seen:

NOTE: Pin 4 is pulled down to ground by 49.9K.

1) At power up/power down, observed the INPUT connects to OUTPUT (the battery voltage at input appears at the output) when system power transition between ~720mV to ~2.9V.

How do i fix this issue? Please advise.

Hey Eric,

It sounds to me like the pulldown may not be holding it low due to some leakage from your device connected to the IN pin (Pin4). So as the device is being powered up, the VIH/VIL levels shift causing the signal path to turn on then off. I would begin by double checking that value using this app report below. You may need a stronger pulldown :
