TS3USB221 Connection of D+ D- pins. Is it OK to connect my D- line to the D+ pin?

Hello Team, please assist

This is not a problem but a question.  I intend to use the TS3USB221E USB Switch.  It has pins labled 1D+, 1D-, 2D+, 2D-, D+ and D-.  Is it necessary to connect the D- pin to the USB D- line or is it OK to connect it to the D+ line as long the 1D- and 2D- pins are connected to the respective D+ lines?  I ask this because it would make the PCB layout much easier.

    Hello Jack,

    Yes. Please tell Andy that he can connect his D- lines to the D+ terminals, and D+ lines to the D- terminals of the TS3USB221E without any differences in the switch. There is no concern in that configuration.
